Here, we discuss sex, death, and now, money. The three no-no, secret topics. The fact is that we all need money to survive and thrive in a capitalist society. And capitalism ensures that wealth is unequally distributed to cultivate the experience of scarcity. (I am not talking about Laws of Attraction because these laws do not work for those who are systemically marginalized.)

The reality is that we live in abundance and Nature’s way is generousity. So in this little corner of the internet, I am inviting the practice of generous giving and shameless receiving.

I want to be generous with my services, education, and community so that all who need it can receive it.

I also need to have a sustainable, reliable income that respects my expertise and experience. In the past, I was privileged enough to offer events and services for free or at reduced rates. However, circumstances have changed, and I need to honor my needs.

So, I am exploring a sliding scale model to serve as a bridge between the capitalist society we exist in and the re-imagined community that I am co-creating with you.

Our re-imagined community prioritizes people and life over product and profit. We are moving from transactional to relational, disconnected to interconnected, individualistic to interdependent.

To keep it simple, my sliding scale model has 3 levels: solidarity, full cost, and pay-it-forward. The pay-it-forward investment level supports the solidarity investment level and allows those with greater financial privilege to have a tangible positive impact for community members who need financial solidarity.

To help assess which level you are at, there are 11 questions for you to answer.

These questions invite you to consider the big picture of your financial privilege compared with others within your community; beyond the numbers to how you live your life and what comforts and security you have.

Please tally the number of ‘Yes’ answers to the questions below to determine your investment level.

I am also open to discuss investment plans and exchanges. I trust your integrity and honesty. If you realize that you have misjudged, you can offer a pay-it-forward session for a community member. Also pay-it-forward sessions payments are always gratefully received by me and the recipient.

Private Birth Education Classes

Private classes are 1.5 hours long. Your investment also includes homework assignments and in-between class check-ins by WhatsApp or Email.

For Birth Education classes, I already have an extensive database to draw from so I am only charging for the face-to-face time. If it is necessary to do research for your specific issue or condition, I will charge for the time invested. I will discuss this with your prior and obtain your consent before starting the research.

Small Group Classes

Group Classes require a minimum of 4 participants. Ideally, there would be 1 Solidarity, 2 Full Cost, and 1 Pay-it-Forward. As always, I am open to discussion.

This minimum ensures fair compensation and sufficient members to practice with outside of class to reinforce your learning.

These classes are only available in person, in Bahrain.

Workshop & Study Groups

Workshops require a minimum of 4 participants. Ideally, there would be 1 Solidarity, 2 Full Cost, and 1 Pay-it-Forward. As always, I am open to discussion.

This minimum ensures fair compensation and sufficient members in the month-long study group for skill practice.

For transparency, I will list the investment for each component separately.

Workshops must be taken with the Study Group.
Some workshops have an added Listening Partnership component.
There is also an option to extend the Study Group to consolidate your skills.
